Spaghetti with cheese and salted eggs

Ingredients

  • 200g (7 oz) spaghetti
  • 2 salted egg yolks (cooked and mashed)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (or your favorite cheese)
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream or milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley or basil for garnish (optional)
  • Red chili flakes (optional, for a spicy kick)

Instructions

1. Cook the Spaghetti:

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Add the spaghetti and cook according to the package instructions until al dente.
  3. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta cooking water, then drain the spaghetti and set aside.

2. Prepare the Sauce:

  1. In a large pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.

3. Add the Salted Egg Yolks:
