- 1 French baguette or Italian loaf
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped (optional)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the baguette or Italian loaf in half lengthwise and place both halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.
- In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley (if using). Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the garlic butter mixture, followed by the grated Parmesan cheese.
