Ingredients:
- Croissants (store-bought or homemade)
- Ripe avocados
- Goat cheese
- Lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: Red pepper flakes or fresh herbs for garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the croissants in half horizontally and place them on a baking sheet.
- Mash the ripe avocados in a bowl and season with lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Spread a generous amount of mashed avocado onto the bottom half of each croissant.
- Crumble or spread goat cheese on top of the avocado layer.
- Place the top half of the croissants back on and gently press down.
- Bake the croissants in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until the goat cheese is slightly melted and the croissants are warmed through.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with red pepper flakes or fresh herbs if desired.
