Recipe for Avocado and Goat Cheese Croissants

Ingredients:

  • Croissants (store-bought or homemade)
  • Ripe avocados
  • Goat cheese
  • Lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Red pepper flakes or fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the croissants in half horizontally and place them on a baking sheet.
  3. Mash the ripe avocados in a bowl and season with lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste.
  4. Spread a generous amount of mashed avocado onto the bottom half of each croissant.
  5. Crumble or spread goat cheese on top of the avocado layer.
  6. Place the top half of the croissants back on and gently press down.
  7. Bake the croissants in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until the goat cheese is slightly melted and the croissants are warmed through.
  8. Remove from the oven and garnish with red pepper flakes or fresh herbs if desired.
